This is GREAT – made me laugh and laugh. Thank you for your great ministry through your comic! 🙂
I am concerned about frame 4. It may cause someone to think that God said “If they try to do evil to you the second time, you and I will Kick Their Life”. No, we pray for them again. If it continues we may want to distance ourselves from them.
Robert. This is a comic strip. Don’t get so uptight about kicking a bucket! Enjoy the overall “humor”.
As Christians, I think we need to be extremely “uptight” about how accurate anything that portrays our God is. Robert has a very valid point in that we must be careful about both what we mean, and how what we say can be taken, especially when those are not the same.
I love this story arc, simply because it shows the true challenge of being a Christian: we have to follow God’s directions, even when they’re hard to understand (remember “Josh and the Giant Wall?”). We must fight for what’s right while loving the enemy. We must seek peace but be prepared for war. We must hate the sin but love the sinner. Jesus never claimed it would be easy, but let’s face it, when we don’t follow “God’s directions”… we end up where we don’t want to be, in this life and in the next.
